The name, size and expiry time of your recent bot uploads, and how many times each was downloaded (we count downloads; we do not record who downloaded)
Your choices about which messages the bot may send you, and whether you have blocked the bot
A record of which of our messages were sent to you and whether they were delivered
2. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to:

Enforce usage limits and prevent abuse

Messages We Send Through the Telegram Bot
If you use our Telegram bot, it may message you in these ways:
File alerts: a reminder about an hour before one of your longer-lived files expires, and a note when one of your files has been downloaded. These are about your own files and are on by default.
Updates and news: occasional messages about new features or changes to TempFile. We send at most one per person per week and avoid overnight hours. If you have not used the bot for a long time we may send you a single message to let you know it is still available.
Service notices: important information about the service itself, such as planned maintenance or a change that affects you.
You are in control. Send /stop to the bot to stop updates and news immediately. Send /notifications to switch updates and file alerts on or off separately. Blocking the bot also stops all messages; we detect this and stop trying to message you. Service notices are not sent to people who have turned off file alerts.
Data Use Commitment: We do not use your uploaded files for advertising, analytics, or user profiling. Temporary file data is not shared with third parties.
3. Data Retention and Deletion
Automatic Deletion
All uploaded files are automatically deleted after your selected time period (1-48 hours)
File metadata is deleted with the files
No permanent copies are retained
No backup copies are maintained after deletion
Telegram Data Retention
Records of your recent bot uploads (name, size, download count) are removed within 2 days after the file expires, and immediately if you delete the file through the bot
Your bot profile (Telegram ID, name, @username, usage counts and notification choices) is kept while you use the bot and erased after 12 months without activity
Records of which of our messages were sent to you are deleted after 90 days
If you turned off a type of message or were blocked from the bot, we may keep only your Telegram ID and that choice after erasure, solely so the choice keeps being respected
You can ask us to erase your bot data at any time (see section 13). Files you already uploaded still expire on their normal schedule
Log Retention
Access logs: 30 days maximum
Error logs: 90 days maximum
Rate limiting data: 24 hours maximum
Session data: Until browser session ends
4. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information. We may disclose information only:

Messages you send to our bot, and messages the bot sends you, are delivered by Telegram and are subject to Telegram's Privacy Policy. We do not share the bot data described above with anyone else.
